At Hunter Fitness we are passionate about helping people improve their lives through fitness. Our coaches have a wealth of knowledge and create the ultimate experience for all our members. We deliver this through effective program design, workshops and an individualised approach to coaching.

Dani

Hi, I’m Dani and I am the co-owner of Hunter Fitness. I have been in the fitness industry for over ten years and love empowering people to improve their health and fitness and ultimately live their best lives. I am a CF-L2 CrossFit Trainer, with a Bachelor in Exercise Science and Nutrition. I believe I have the best job in the world as I have a positive impact on people’s physical, mental, and social wellbeing.

Felipe

Hi, my name is Felipe and I’m the head coach at Hunter Fitness. I’ve been working in the fitness industry since 2018, when I moved to Australia from Brazil. I am a CF-L2 CrossFit Trainer and AWF L1 Trainer, with a Certificate III and IV in Fitness. Being a trainer for me means much more than helping people through exercise. I love creating real connections and empowering them to be better versions of themselves inside and outside the gym.

Madison

Hi, my name is Madison and I’m a coach at Hunter Fitness. I have been involved with fitness my entire life. I spent my early years playing soccer, surfing, and exercising in gyms. Health and fitness have always been so crucial for my physical and mental health. CrossFit has been a part of my life for over 10 years, and I have loved every second of it. I have a keen interest in weightlifting and gymnastics!

Kayla

Hey, it’s Kayla! I’m a CF-L2 CrossFit Trainer at my beloved gym, Hunter Fitness! I have been doing CrossFit for eight years and been coaching for 5 of those years. At the age of 21, coming off two ACL reconstructions from sport, I found my love for CrossFit and this amazing community. Now, I get to share my knowledge and be a positive influence on our members, helping build those up around me.

Sam

Hi, I’m Sam and I’m a CrossFit Trainer at Hunter Fitness. With a love for exercise and movement I joined the fitness industry as a personal trainer, later gaining my CrossFit and weightlifting qualifications and have never looked back. I am hugely passionate about women’s health and love sharing my knowledge to help all women feel confident and safe in the gym.

Hi, I’m Char and I’m a CrossFit Trainer and Exercise Physiologist. I take great pride in helping people move efficiently and unlock their fitness journey. I have been involved in CrossFit for 11 years, coaching for 10 of them. I love working with so many different types of people, across all levels of fitness. Being a part of people’s lives for that special 1 hour a day is super rewarding and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

The 7 Keys to Success!

SLEEP

Go to sleep the same time every night. 7+ hours of uninterrupted sleep in a dark, cold room. Limiting blue light 60-90 minutes before bed.

VITAMIN D

30 minutes of direct sunlight daily on your skin and eyes. Do this unplugged from electronic devices. Best time is between 10-3.

CHEW

Chew your food until your jaw gets tired, around 30 chews per bite. Taste the food, break it down and enjoy eating.

H2O

Drink 4% of your body weight in litres of water as a base per day. This excludes coffee, tea and other liquids.

QUALITY

Every time you eat is a 50 hour investment for energy, training and recovery. Choose high quality proteins and vegetables, with plenty of variety.

CALM

Calm down your brain and CNS at night through stretching or some sort of meditation. This could be reading a book or playing games with the family.

COLD SHOWER

Make sure the last 30 seconds of your shower is cold water only. This has many health benefits and improves your resilience to stress.
